Your support will help secure the future of manufacturing in Northern Utah. Thousands of well-paying manufacturing jobs exist in Northern Utah today, with even more openings anticipated over the next several years. Yet, there is a drastic shortage of skilled applicants.

Northern Utah NTMA is addressing this issue by participating in our local Skills USA Machining Competition, where Utah schools come together for a fun day of competition! We had the most participation this past year, with 27 highly motivated machinists competing in this event. The kids gained invaluable coaching, and our judges were the best mentors! Win for Participants! Win for Education! Win for Industry! Win for Tomorrow! Our goal for the competition is 60 students at our next event!

This year, part of our net proceeds will help fund students in technical tracks, Will you help us fill this critical need?

The Northern Utah Chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association arranges an annual golf tournament to help raise money for Skills USA. We seek your donation for our silent auction following an enjoyable day of golf at Stonebridge Golf Club which will take place on Friday, September 20, 2024. Over the last several years, the demand for a skilled manufacturing workforce has increased.
